This is a pewter pendant of the Celtic Green Man. The pendant is made in the USA from lead free pewter, is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and comes with a 33 inch black adjustable necklace. The pendant / necklace comes on the card as shown in the picture. The Green Man is primarily interpreted as a symbol of rebirth, representing the cycle of growth each spring. The Celts are the creators of the "Celtic Knots", which are generally formed of endless lines signifying the bindings of the soul to the physical world. From the pre-historic era the Celts wove mystic spirals, knots and labyrinths on the weathered stones of the British Isles.
